Carbondale merchants are gearing up for a new program to boost business.

Starting on November 15^th---Go Green =Get Green will be the catchwords and advertising slogans for the promotions that will last three months.

If you shop in Carbondale---goes the plan; you’ll have a chance to win environmentally friendly prizes---including an electric car.

The town put up 30 thousand dollars to help fund the project---aimed at keeping those holiday dollars in the community.  

Be sure and check out the “real estate broker show”—on our sister station: KSNO—each Tuesday morning at nine.  Part of local news---this segment will keep you abreast of the upswing in real estate activity---which is probably the best indicator of where the local economy is headed. 

In Breckenridge this week residents voted y a 73 percent majority to decriminalize pot---small amounts of the drug and drug paraphernalia—well, don’t light up at the coffee shop---or on the street, but police will tend to other things first.
